GET TO KNOW ME

Hi, I’m Sam Soles! Your Strength-Based Coach
Intro
My name is Sam! I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart since 2010, and we have two incredible kids together. We are a family of ADHDers, which has given me firsthand insight into the joys and challenges of neurodiversity. I’m a former military spouse and (part-time) homeschool mom who has also worked in schools, from elementary to post-secondary. I was a cosmetologist, now turned into a professional coach.
My favorite kids are always the “behavior problems,” because I know how misunderstood they often are. I truly believe that all behavior is communication if we take the time to listen to what isn’t being said.

My Story / Journey:
My journey as a coach didn’t start with me; it started in October 2019 with my then 5-year-old son. My sweet boy, whom I had long suspected had ADHD, began to struggle in his Kindergarten class. Along the way, I realized it wasn’t just him who was struggling; it was me too. That “AH HA” moment changed everything, giving my life clarity and purpose.
My husband was also diagnosed with ADHD as a child, and the insights I gained through our journey have helped not only our children, but me as well. I was frustrated because there was so much misinformation about ADHD, HFA, and neurodivergence in general. As I continued learning, I took a job where I could deepen these skills and support children struggling with anxiety and OCD, which became my professional passion.
I’ve found my purpose: to teach and guide children and the adults who love them, helping families navigate neurodiversity with knowledge, compassion, and a strength-based approach.

Philosophy / Approach:
I hope to share tips, tools, and a strength-based approach for both our kids and ourselves. I want to be your guide, your cheerleader, and part of your support system—but ultimately, I want parents and newly diagnosed adults to know they aren’t alone. Neurodiversity is not a disorder; it’s a uniqueness that can be celebrated, understood, and leveraged.
