Who this is for / Why work with me
You’re in the right place if you:
• Feel overwhelmed supporting a neurodivergent child, sibling, or family member
• Want to build a strength-based family culture
• Crave small wins that actually stick (yes, even uninterrupted showers!)
• Are ready to turn quirks into strengths and connection points
• You want to enjoy parenting/life again with neurodivergence
What I Offer/ Creditials
I’m Sam, a former hairstylist with 13 years of experience transforming lives, a BS in Psychology (minor in Communication Sciences & Disorders), on going MSW course work, and 2.5 years of experience as a coach at Instride Health specializing in CBT, ERP, ACT, and Strength-Based approach. I’m currently training as a Mental Health Coach (CMHC) through Headspace and will soon sit for the NBCHWC exam.
I help parents, caregivers, and individuals reclaim clarity, build momentum, and celebrate strengths using evidence-informed strategies, a strength-based lens, and real-life practicality.

Coaching VS Therapy
Two Different Supports, Both Valuable
Many people ask me: “Is coaching the same as therapy?” The short answer is no, and here’s why:

Therapy is designed to help you heal, process, and treat mental health conditions. A licensed therapist provides a safe space to explore emotions, past experiences, and underlying psychological patterns.
Coaching, on the other hand, focuses on moving forward, building skills, and creating actionable strategies. In coaching, we work on education, goal-setting, behavior changes, family routines, habit-building, and using your strengths to thrive.

Coaching does not replace therapy. In fact, it often works best alongside or after therapy, helping you implement strategies, practice skills, and stay accountable between sessions. Think of therapy as the foundation for healing and insight, and coaching as the map, compass, and cheerleader that helps you navigate life and apply what you learn.
